Freshfields is a fine Edwardian property built around 1904, the high ceilings and spacious rooms being particularly attractive features. It became a Guest House 16 years ago and we ourselves have been here for 10 years.
We suit those wishing to avoid the hubbub of the village centre being just five minutes level walk away in the residential area of Ambleside.
