Description:
Denehurst is a traditional Lakeland stone house built in 1898 and full of Victorian charm and character. Situated in a quiet area away from the main road and with ample and convenient parking, we are just a 10-minute walk from Bowness and the Lake. The bus and railway station and the village of Windermere are a similar distance away.
We provide high standards of food and accommodation, more 4 star hotel than small guest house. The service we offer is personal and professional but in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We want you to enjoy yourselves.

Just had the perfect 2 night stay in this guest house. I had never been to the lakes, and was on a work trip with 4 colleagues. I travel alot internationally and admit to being quite spoilt when I usually travel, but my colleagues wanted to stay in a B&B, and my experiences of B&B's in the UK had thus far been a bit ropey.
My room, was charmingly decorated, spotlessly clean, and had all the facilities one would want.
However, what really makes this place stand out is the service from Cindy and Ken. We arrived in a bit of a state, sopping wet from kayaking and were greeted with hot tea, our clothes were dried for us, and Cindy recommended and booked a restaurant for us for the evening. We were helped with travel arrangements, walking tours..everything!
