The guest house is ideally situated in Windermere, midway between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness which are only a ten minute walk away, Crompton House is a Victorian built non-smoking guest house which retains a lot of character, with a warm and friendly atmosphere, which creates a relaxed and homely feel.
Each of our seven Non-Smoking bedrooms has been tastefully refurbished and all are en-suite, consisting mainly of doubles and one family room, and a very attractive four poster.

We have stayed at crompton house many times, and must say we always get a warm welocome. The hosts are very nice and friendly people. The full english breakfast is lovely. Whenever we visit the lake district we always stay here as we know we will always be welcome and comfortable. We would recommend this guest house to anyone who is visiting the lakes, you will not be disappointed!
