Description: Woodlands Hotel is a handsome Edwardian villa located on the peaceful side of the village. The Woodlands offers guests comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in truly charming surroundings. The 15 en-suite guest rooms include a choice of single, double and twin room two of them located on the ground floor. All rooms are well equipped with colour television, radio alarm clocks, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Two of the rooms have 4 poster beds and, if you really want to impress, flowers and/or champagne can be waiting for you in the room. Family rooms are also available.
There's a bar and residents lounge where you can relax with a drink, and breakfast is served in the light and airy dining room with its large windows overlooking the garden. Woodlands is open all year round and special midweek breaks are available.

There's ample off road parking and credit cards are accepted. The hotel is ideally located for visiting the many attractions of this glorious area.
It's just a short walk to Bowness and the host of activities on Lake Windermere where you can also take a trip on the old steamboat and visit the Steamboat Museum. The World of Beatrix Potter is a popular visitor attraction and a vehicle ferry will take you across the lake to the famous writer's home at Near Sawrey.
Woodlands Hotel is also close the National Park Visitor Centre ant Brockhole, the Wordsworth Museum at Grasmere and, in whichever direction you travel from Windermere you are surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in England.
