Description: Montfort Cottage was built in the latter part of the 19th century from Lakeland stone and, although modernised, still retains much of its original charm and character. Complimentary use of Parklands Country Club in Bowness is also included for the duration of your stay. Dont forget to bring your swimming costume and a towel!

Montfort Cottage has gained an enviable reputation locally for its friendliness and excellent service which, accompanied by a hearty breakfast, have helped to build a regular clientele. For the added comfort of all its guests, Montfort Cottage operates a strict no-smoking policy. There are 5 double bedrooms in total. All have en-suite facilities except one, which has sole use of a private bathroom. For that special occasion, honeymoon or romantic weekend, there are three rooms with four poster beds. All the rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary style with country pine furniture. Each bedroom comes equipped with a hospitality tray, colour TV, cuddly toy, hairdryer, clock/radio and iron & ironing board as standard.
