Lake District Weekend Camping Trip
The Lake District in North West England is the perfect destination for the outdoor enthusiast with so much natural beauty in one place. I recently went on a weekend camping trip in the Lake District National Park in the heart of the Lake District. It was with out a doubt the best camping trip I have had to date.
The campsite was in the perfect location, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, but within walking distance to town. The site provided all the necessary facilities and services needed for a comfortable stay.
There were a number of outdoor activities on offer at the campsite and a variety of walking trails started at the campsite and winded their way through the beautiful forest of the Lake District National Park. I enjoyed taking walks and exploring the surrounding landscape. This was my first visit to the Lake District and I will definitely be back on another camping trip in the very near future.
