Bed and Breakfast in the Lake District
My wife and I are keen bikers, mid forties, and decided with a group of mates to ride up from Norwich for a weekend B&B in the Lake District. This would give us a better opportunity for riding around and visting all the villages.
We stayed in a lovely bed and breakfast in Bowness on the Main Road near to the Police station. Our hosts were more than accommodating, we didnt have to ask for anything, the breakfast was excellent - a perfect start to the day. I dont think there is a road or lane that we didnt explore.
We went as far up as Cockermouth and as far down as Ulverston. Every town we visited had brilliant take-aways and great pubs! We will definately plan more weekend breaks like this again.
