Fell Walking in the Lake District
I’ve read a lot about the Lake District and fell walking in particular; I’ve always wanted to go fell walking in the Lake District and finally got the chance on my recent vacation. I bought a couple of fell walking guides, packed my bags and headed off to the Lake District.
The Lake District has to be the most beautiful place in the whole world, with such an abundant array of natural beauty; form the lakes and forests down below to the mountain peaks up above. The views over the surrounding landscape from high above along the fells are simply amazing and well worth the walk up.
I stayed in a traditional Lakeland Inn, which has been operating for over 100 years. The Inn provided all the facilities and services of a top class hotel, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend the Lake District to anyone looking for the perfect holiday destination away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
