My recent holiday in the Lake District of Cumbria in the North West of England was with out a doubt the best holiday I have been on to date. I have seen television programs about the Lake District and how beautiful it is, but nothing can compare to seeing it first hand.
I spent most of my holiday in the Lake District National Park, although I would have loved to explore even more had my stay been a little longer. I will make sure to come back for another holiday so I can explore that which I missed out on.
Being an outdoor enthusiast I really enjoyed all the outdoor activities on offer, especially following the numerous walking trails exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District National Park. The Lake District truly is a national treasure and must be preserved in order to allow generations to come an opportunity to see nature at its best.
