Luxury Windermere Boutique Hotel
As bikers, my wife and I are used to being a little uncomfortable, so we decided that this time our holiday to the Lake District would be in a luxury Hotel. We have stayed in many guest houses dotted throughout the National Park area.
Our hotel of choice was on the main road between Windermere and Bowness, the room even had a jacuzzi spa bath - which we thoroughly enjoyed. During our weekend break we toured around all the mountain passes as far north as Keswick, where we had great "fish and chips".
After the comfort of our hotel, the ride home seemed to go very quickly - we HIGHLY recommend the Lake District to anybody wanting to relax.
