Boutique Lake District Hotel Holiday
We have just returned to London after a weekend holiday in the Lake District, we got snowed in, yeahh, our Hotel was between Windermere and Bowness on the main road to Lake Windermere, the luxury accommodation was excellent we decided to stay another night.
We stayed because it snowed very heavy overnight and we couldnt get going in the morning, and it was still snowing. It was lovely walking along the Glebe during a blizzard seeing all the ducks huddled up trying to keep warm, cars totally covered.
If the Lake District could guarentee winter wonderland weather more often, the guest house, bed and breakfast and hotel businesses would do a roaring trade, we will be there at Easter again, this time for a week, cheers for the wonderful weather.
