Xmas and New Year in the Lake District

This is our favourite time of year in the Lake District, when you wake up in the morning and the air is crisp, the sky is blue and the fields are white. There is nothing better than sitting in front of a roaring fire in a comfortable seat drinking your favourite malt, port or hot chocolate.

Make sure you book your Christmas and New Year accommodation in the Lake District well in advance, as this is quite a popular time of year for tourists. The winter scenery in Cumbria is quite breathtaking, but you will need to see this for yourself to understand the true beauty of it.
