New Ing Lodge B&B Shap
Formerly a working farm, New Ing Lodge lies on the once busy A6. Built
in 1708 New Ing Farm was for a while also a coaching inn, observant visitors
will notice the single window high up on each of the gable ends. These are
unusual and it was from these windows that the servant girls would look out
for the next coach and warn the landlord so that he could prepare to greet the new arrivals. These days, New Ing Lodge offers comfort and luxury with a modern style in the Lake District National Park at an affordable price.
